Bench Slot Technician

Job Description:
The Bench Slot Technician position will be able to perform routine maintenance and repair on gaming machines, equipment, components, and hardware. In doing so, he/she will be supporting the Field Slot Technicians in maintaining the performance of gaming machines at assigned casinos at an acceptable level. This position will be required to troubleshoot electronic gaming machines down to the component level; and may be required to repair, install, remove, or convert gaming machines at assigned locations as needed while ensuring compliance with approved procedures. A professional and positive attitude will be maintained at all times. Protect DGS assets by following company policies and procedures, state, federal, and tribal regulatory compliance and guidelines, and Internal Control Policies.
Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent, required

3+ years of slot machine experience

Tech bench experience is a plus

Familiarity with electrical work

Shows high levels of organization and cleanliness

Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule and be expected to work at least five days per week and some occasional weekend hours. A supervisor will prepare a work schedule for techs in advance. Please understand we will have many occasions when installations and emergencies require additional hours beyond the standard work hours.
Essential Functions:
Repairing machines and various EGM components and peripherals.
Troubleshooting EGMs down to the component level.
Assist Field Slot Technicians through part repair, trouble shooting, and education.
Install, remove, or convert any type of gaming equipment as needed.
Perform tasks for installation and removal of any slot related equipment.
Respond to parts needs in a timely manner.
Communicate with other slot techs efficiently.
Repair and diagnose machine error codes.
Isolate electronic faults at the board level and repair.
Maintain proper compliance at all times.
Ensure safety and cleanliness at all times.
Ensures DGS quality customer service and positive attitude in everything you do.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to respond to customers and co-workers in a timely manner.
Must have exceptional customer service skills.
Must have strong leadership skills.
Ability to perform basic math functions.
Must have a strong knowledge of electronic repair at the component level.
Must have skill in soldering components.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Knowledge of Tribal/State/Federal laws and regulations.
Knowledge of National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Possess a thorough knowledge of the mechanics, electronics and electrical functions of gaming machines.
Ability to work with various hand and power tools.
Ability to learn quickly.
Physical Demands:
Required to walk, sit and stand for periods of time.
Ability to push and move electronic gaming machines up to 300+ lbs.
Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and move intermittently throughout the day.
