WAREHOUSE / INVENTORY TECHNICIAN

Job description

The Warehouse and Inventory Technician position must be able to support operations team by keeping the warehouse organized, loading and unloading trucks, and following all company policies and procedures to ensure safety. This position will be required to drive a box truck to and from installation projects as needed, which may require additional government licensing and/or background checks. Strong organizational skills are required to keep an organized work space, warehouse, and to facilitate the readiness of EGMs for project needs. Current and valid driver’s license is required to be maintained for duration of employment. Must be able to pass DOT certifications, and maintain DOT certification status for duration of employment. Upon completion of 30-day probationary period that is deemed successful by management, employee will be eligible for company benefits outlined in company handbook. A professional and positive attitude will be maintained at all times. Protect DGS assets by following company policies and procedures, federal, state, local, and tribal regulatory compliance and guidelines, and Internal Control Policies. Any violation of company policies, including but not limited to violence, threats of violence, harassment or theft will result in immediate termination.

Essential Functions of the Position

Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

Assist Inventory Manager with pulling parts, replacing parts, and keeping inventory stock.

Assist with stripping EGMs, inventorying part, distributing parts as needed, and disposing of EGMs as directed.

Preparing EGMs for projects through set up, testing, and repair as needed.

Assist Field Slot Technicians through trouble shooting, and education. Perform tasks for installation and removal of any slot related equipment.

Regularly move large gaming machines with the help of moving equipment.

Communicate with other slot techs efficiently.

Repair and diagnose machine error codes. Maintain proper compliance at all times. Ensure safety and cleanliness at all times.

Ensures DGS quality customer service and positive attitude in everything you do.

Driving to and from various job sites throughout the assigned territory. This will routinely include driving a 26’, or similar, box truck.

Additional duties as assigned by the company.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to respond to customers and co-workers in a timely manner. Must have exceptional customer service skills.

Must have strong leadership skills.

Ability to perform basic math functions.

Must have a knowledge of EGM functions and set up procedures or be willing to learn. Must have mechanical skill to use various hand and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of Tribal/State/Federal laws and regulations.

Knowledge of National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Possess knowledge of the mechanics, electronics and electrical functions of gaming machines.

Ability to work with various hand and power tools. Ability to learn quickly.

Ability to read, analyze, interpret and respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries. Ability to accurately prepare reports.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No direct supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands

Required to walk, sit, stand and drive for periods of time.

Ability to push and move electronic gaming machines.

Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and move intermittently throughout the day.

Work Environment

Indoor/Outdoor; exposure to external environmental conditions possible.

Noise level can be minimal to intense.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma (or equivalent combination of education and experience combined). Must be 21 years of age or older.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable for duration of employment.

Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination, and stay in compliance with DOT regulations for duration of employment.

Must be able to drive company vehicles during work hours.

Must be able to pass background check(s) and drug test, and obtain a gaming license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
